Switchgear GIS provides superior space optimization with a range of 70-80% smaller footprint compared to air-insulated switchgear (AIS). This compact design makes CO7's GIS ideal for limited spaces. In high-voltage applications (27–38 kV), GIS can reduce footprints by up to 60%, while at lower voltages (5–15 kV), the savings are less pronounced as footprints remain similar. It’s robustness is engineered to the highest industry standards with an expected lifetime of 30-50 years.
This GIS design simplifies maintenance tasks, lowering the total cost of ownership compared to traditional AIS powering industry’s growing demand for sustainable, high-performance equipment.
