Your Day-to-Day:

Under the supervision of the Procurement Director, your main tasks will include:

  • Processing purchase requests for various projects;

  • Tracking delivery dates and managing urgent orders;

  • Ensuring data, such as Min/Max levels, are up to date in the system;

  • Anticipating and managing risks associated with critical suppliers;

  • Implementing cost reductions in collaboration with different departments;

  • Negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring compliance with these agreements;

  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth communication and processes;

  • Monitoring inventory levels and anticipating supply needs;

  • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery time criteria.


Desired Profile:

  • DEC/AEC or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (a major asset);

  • 2 years or more of experience in purchasing and procurement within the manufacturing sector;

  • Required experience with the Kanban system;

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems as well as the Microsoft Office Suite;

  • French/English bilingualism required (negotiations with international and local clients);

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment;

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
