Your Day-to-Day:
Under the supervision of the Procurement Director, your main tasks will include:
Processing purchase requests for various projects;
Tracking delivery dates and managing urgent orders;
Ensuring data, such as Min/Max levels, are up to date in the system;
Anticipating and managing risks associated with critical suppliers;
Implementing cost reductions in collaboration with different departments;
Negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring compliance with these agreements;
Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth communication and processes;
Monitoring inventory levels and anticipating supply needs;
Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery time criteria.
Desired Profile:
DEC/AEC or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (a major asset);
2 years or more of experience in purchasing and procurement within the manufacturing sector;
Required experience with the Kanban system;
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems as well as the Microsoft Office Suite;
French/English bilingualism required (negotiations with international and local clients);
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
