The challenges that await you
Under the supervision of the Purchasing Director, your main tasks will be to:
Lead the evaluation, review, and improvement of existing purchasing and logistics procedures and processes;
Manage supplier relationships during the implementation of major projects;
Selection of new suppliers, ensuring their qualification, and following up with them;
Prepare and launch calls for tenders;
Anticipate and manage risks associated with critical suppliers;
Define purchasing strategies and best practices based on their commodities in order to reduce costs;
Negotiate and implement commercial and contractual agreements and ensure compliance with these agreements;
Work in collaboration with the various departments to ensure the smooth flow of processes

Profile sought
DCS/ACS or Bachelor's degree in administration or supply chain management (major asset);
3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing and supply in the manufacturing industry;
Mandatory experience with the Kanban system;
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and the Microsoft suite;
Mandatory French/English bilingualism (negotiations with international clients);
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills;
